What is AtmosphereConf? #

AtmosphereConf is the global conference for the atproto community, an open protocol powering Bluesky and 100s of other applications.

How can I contact AtmosphereConf? #

You can reach the conference producers using our contact form.

Where is the venue? #

The main venue is the AMS Student Nest, on the University of British Columbia (UBC) campus, located at:

6133 University Blvd GMap · CoMaps Vancouver, BC V6T 1Z1

How do I get to UBC from the airport? #

Leave the Airport via Skytrain and get off at the Oakridge - 41st Avenue stop. Cross the street and take the R4 rapid bus westbound to the end of the line, UBC Bus Exchange Bay 1, from there it's a 5 minute walk to the Gage Suites conference hotel.

How do I get around Vancouver via Transit? #

Vancouver's public transit is quite good. Public transit is enabled with tap-to-pay that works with major credit cards, or you can buy a stored value Compass Card and use that to pay.

We recommend the Transit App for iOS and Android that can help you navigate public transit routes for a car-free experience.

To get to downtown Vancouver from the UBC campus take one of the following buses: #4, #44, #14 or #N17. The Bus terminal at UBC is located conveniently next to The Nest and near the Gage Suites conference hotel.

Uber and Lyft are both available as ride-share alternatives to public transit.

What kind of restaurants are around? #

There is a dinner plans channel in Roomy which is a good place to trade restaurant tips.

Closer to downtown Vancouver, the Holiday Inn Vancouver-Centre is right on Broadway which has a fast bus line direct to the UBC campus.
